Sustainable printing

Our specialism is 100% sustainable printing. The sustainable quality printer’; we make this honest promise everywhere. Every day. We like to pass on our planet to the next generation in a healthy way. And we already started doing so years ago. In 2015, for example, we started with CSR improvement teams in which our own employees play an active role, 100% bottom up. And from the shop floor we count about 16 CSR projects per year. We are currently focusing on printing with ‘cradle to cradle’ inks, collecting coffee grounds and the further optimisation of so-called ‘hubs’ on the outskirts of towns from where electric vehicles can be driven into the city. The latter is a development on which Tuijtel will be focusing more and more in the near future.

One of our own objectives – and also a social obligation – is to reduce our carbon footprint. By 2030, we must have a carbon-neutral footprint. This is an ambitious goal that we work hard to achieve every day. Energy and environmental savings are a fundamental criterion for every investment we make. Our question is always: what other sustainability gains can we achieve?

In recent years, we have achieved significant electricity savings, used heat recovery compressors, reduced our waste and installed time switches, among other things. Add to this the positive change in behaviour by committed employees!

What can you do? So green!

It is now clear that Tuijtel is continuing to take serious measures to significantly reduce CO² emissions. Today. Tomorrow and the day after. You can do something too! And that goes far beyond simply placing a ‘green logo’…

As a client, you can show that you are making an effort. How? We make the entire path from paper to customer delivery concrete. We show you how many tonnes of CO² are released for your publication. You can offset these emissions yourself in a 100% certified way and thus make a significant contribution to the environment.

Since 2010 Tuijtel neutralizes its own emissions with the official certification of natureOffice. This is a unique collaboration with a virtuous organisation that invests in Gold Standard climate protection projects, such as Togo. We do this in combination with the project Nederland Plus, initiated by us, through which we support the Biesbosch National Park.

In other words, you can have your order produced 100% neutrally. You contribute to a sustainable world. Your contributions go to climate protection projects in Togo as well as your own country. Your company thus shows the outside world how important sustainability is. This choice will help you achieve your corporate climate goals. Your efforts translate into an official certificate with a traceable unique code. As a customer, you always decide for yourself whether you support.
